Development Steering Committee
Our mission and purpose is to discern and guide the development of parish facilities with regards to parish needs and resources. This decision making body takes into account the desires of the parish at-large, collaborates with the Pastoral Council, Finance Council, and Parish staff regarding its decisions and assists in disseminating information to the parish.

The DSC meets several times a month, often weekly, according to the needs of the committee, parish and project timelines.

You must have the ability to request, translate, discern and implement the desires of the parish community in a committed and collaborative environment. Members of the DSC bring with them skills from their professional lives. Some helpful skills are parish administration, construction and project management, teaching, architect design, and business management.

Finance Council
The Finance Council assists the Pastor in the administration of finances and the other temporal aspects of parish life.

Meetings are generally the first or second Monday of each month at 6PM at the parish office.

Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is a group of parishioners and clergy that share the responsibility of discerning how to best meet the pastoral and temporal needs of the parish. The council participates with the Finance Council and the Development Steering Committee in periodic Triad meetings.

All you need are communication skills to effectively contribute to group leadership using a consensus decision making process. Ability to understand and advocate for the needs of parishioners at large, while putting aside personal self-interest.

Meetings are:
When: Second Wednesday of each month
Time: 7:30 pm
Where: Parish Hall

Stewardship
The Stewardship Committee helps facilitate and develop a comprehensive view of stewardship in the parish. Stewardship is a praying, caring, sharing, accountable way of life rooted in Christian Discipleship...The call to follow Jesus and imitate His way of life.

To be on this committee you should be willing to assist in planning for stewardship activities and doing follow-up with stewards willing to donate time and talent to the needs of the parish. There is also a need for individuals willing to call directors of other ministry groups on behalf of the needs of the parish.

Meetings are:
When: Third Thursday of each month
Time: 7:00 pm
Where: Parish Hall

Stewardship Reporting
To help keep parishioners informed each years of how we as a parish have been good stewards of God’s gifts of time, talent and treasure.

Skills necessary include: Good writing skills with ability to clearly communicate information would be extremely helpful. Design and production of reports requires graphic artist talent using specialized software.

Meetings are as needed when planning the annual report or newsletter usually held in the evenings.
